Additional tips:

  • First and foremost, if you would need it or use it so would someone else.

  • Canned goods with pop-top lids are better than canned goods that require a can opener

  • Avoid foods packaged in glass.

  • Do not donate foods that are past the expiration date.

  • Used clothing in generally good condition is always welcome. 

  • Remember it still gets cold here in the panhandle an "SOCKS" are the #1 requested item for those needed assistance with warm clothing. Hats, gloves, scarves and blankets are a wonderful item to have when it starts to get cold.
